Catalog Buying Assistant
Location: Lincolnshire / Deerfield, IL

Under the supervision of the Manager of the Dept. and as a direct report to a Catalog Run Buyer, the Assistant helps the Catalog Run Buyer to ensure that LTD merchandise complies with all necessary governmental and corporate requirements. This highly visible and responsible position has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, company sales and potentially the companys legal responsibility on matters of product liability.

Qualified candidates will meet the following minimum requirements: Requires a high school diploma or equiv. Minimum of six to twelve months of professional, administrative or clerical experience req. Vendor interaction requires strong communication skills both oral and written, secure language and grammar skills, and excellent interpersonal skills an ability to maintain a solid attendance record. Intermediate knowledg of Outlook, Excel, Work and overall understanding of personal computer software packages. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed. Ability to work extended hours (including occasional Saturdays) in order to meet individual and departmental deadlines, as necessitated by the workflow are required.
