Overall I like the Blade Maid

"As a senior citizen, I found it very easy to put together and take apart when cleaning the microfibers. The handle has a nice cushion and felt good on my hands. The padded handle also prevented it from slipping from my hands. Be aware that you must approach the fan blade at just the right angle in order to get the microfiber duster to slide across it. It is a learning curve to figure it out for your situation. The difficulty of this task will depend on the person's height/arm reach and the height of the fan blades. I expected it to be easier to execute; but once you figure out the correct angle to get it on the blade than you are good to go. You also have to pay attention to how much pressure/force you use as you slide it across the blade or else the whole fan starts swinging. I am glad I got it and will continue to use it. Now I need to find something that will clean the top of the fan motor where I don't have to get on a ladder!"

Works like a charm

"I have 16 foot ceilings with ceiling fans in every room. I have to normally get a ladder and go ridiculously high to reach, way too dangerous for me now. This piece works like a charm, it’s long enough to just use with a step stool that is very sturdy and it cleans each paddle perfectly. After having not a good answer for cleaning these at such heights I am thrilled !"
