"The instructions said to pull tab at light so you activate the solar panel. I could not find a tab to pull so I installed them on my deck railing. When they did not light my husband and I took them off the railing and pulled the lamp off the light. There was a plastic plug but to me it looked like it helped hold the lamp shade on. When he took one of the shades off that part fell out so that is when we knew that is what you had to do. The instructions are not correct for the lights."

"It is always so nice to get what you expect. These outdoor rail lights are gorgeous. My neighbors love it! I used the sticky tape pad, wiped the rail with nothing but a paper towel and stuck them. A couple of duds in the pack but I bought a total of 50 my fence is huge. Very happy"
