"I received these two Motion-Activated Owls yesterday. You have to stand directly in front of the owls for the sensor to activate. It does not have any range at all. It is a total waste of money if you are buying it as a deterrent to cats or birds, etc . However if you are buying it just for the looks only then it is a nice product."
