"This is complete junk. Very cute but doesn’t work. Bad design. It won’t grind a thing."
"Very disappointed, this looks just like what I wanted. However, there is not sufficient room to have a nut to drop down into the grinder. Maybe a very small piece of a nut? Certainly not a half of a pecan. Too much hassle to return. Guess I will go to antique stores and look for a vintage one that works."
"Bought this so that I can have things like coffee and flour / meal if and when there's an attack on our grid or similar prolonged threat. It took about 2 minutes and much elbow grease to grind enough coffee beans for a cup of coffee, which is as expected. Might work better if it could be held in place by something. Good price for the quality."
"The antique grinder is difficult to use. It is hard to turn the handle even after multiple uses. I worked up a sweat and ended up with a sore thumb which took a while to heal. Even with all of this it is still a very cute farmhouse kitchen display piece."
"It’s easy to use on nuts and coffee beans money will spent"
"I just received this and really like it. It reminds me of my mother's old timey nut chopper I have been looking for for a long time."
"I got a lot of compliments on this grinder. I did manage to grind coffee with it, but it’s hard to turn. So I only grind enough for one cup at a time. That’s doable. And the coffee tasted great!"
"I bought this about two months ago, I have tried everything and can't get to grind walnuts"
"I AM HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE. I DONT HAVE ANY NUTS TO GRIND RIGHT NOW AND I DO NOT DRINK COFFEE, SO I CAN NOT COMMENT ON HOW THE GRINDER WORKS. IT LOOKS VERY STURDY THOUGH."
"I have mason jars incorporated into my home's decor. Finding this was a great addition to my collection."
