"This item is precious and very well made, but it is top heavy and will not sit on the ledge as it shows in the picture. I moved it inside and put it on a large picture easel so the hat can rest on something. I love it, but am disappointed in design."

"These adorable fence gnomes do not have any provisioons to attach them to a fence to make them stay on the fenxe, With the slight pillow back on the back of the gnomes, they will not even sit on the back of a chair without falling either forwards or backwards. "sure, the gnome is cute but it says you don’t need any hardware to hang it on the fence and there’s absolutely no way to put it on a fence and have it stay without going to the store and buying something. having said that, I must admit that I haven’t figured out what yet. There’s absolutely nothing to attach the gnome to your fence with. If there is supposed to be, maybe mine is missing it. I wouldn’t know because it didn’t come with any packaging paperwork or any instructions. Do not waste your money unless you plan on hanging it instead of having it sit on your fence. I seriously doubt, though that it would last very long anywhere outdoors. Absolutely one of the biggest disappointments I’ve ever had from LTD"
