Doesn't Work
"Have it in our living room bay window with the solar device at the windows in a potted plant. Only lights up when all the living room lights are off. Please note: we have done this same technique with other solar strings with great success. Very disappointed."

"Stake acorns are fantastic and bright. The wrap ones worked for three days and quit. I would recommend the stakes but not the wrap. The mailbox ones work great also."

"Did not expect it to be this cheaply made, looked very pretty in the catalog. Also, when I received the item, the stakes were missing. i contacted LC and they shipped me the whole order again. Now I have two sets of acorns, one with stakes one without."

"I am disappointed with this product. It's not the highest quality, but the thing I didn't like was that they were not separate items. They are joined by wire/cord that is about 12 inches long & 1 of the stakes holds the solar panel. I thought they were 2 separate stakes with their own solar panel. I was going to put them at the bottom of my steps (1 on each side), but the wire/cord that joins them is not long enough."

"I wrapped this around a stair railing in front of my house as part of my fall decoration. The item is well made and pretty. The solar panel works, but the lights were never as bright as they show in the picture, but that may have had to do with how much sun they get in my front yard. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase."
I Love Acorns!
"When I saw these I knew I had to order them. They're very nice and colorful however I was a little surprised to see that Maple Leaves when Acorns come from Oak trees which have a totally different leaf. I do love them & put them outside immediately."

"The solar acorn on stakes are very sensitive. They don't always stay on or they blink. It also would be nice if the solar panel can be adjusted because depending on where you put it in your yard, sometimes you have to adjust the panel so its facing the sun light and it's not always on the back side of the acorn. I do like the acorn garland. The lit acorns stay on. I'm thinking of ordering another one."
