"I wanted to do this for a long time so to use special memory wine bottles for a lamp - I finally purchased TWO of these lamp kits. I excitedly took the first one out of the box, put a lightbulb in it and NOTHING - it does not work. I can say the 2nd one does work, but I'm a bit afraid of it because the first one didn't work and the directions say not to put more than a 40 watt bulb to prevent risk of fire. I wasn't aware of that and that dampened my planned usage. I have tried calling, writing and finally got through but waited on hold only to be told they had to call me back, and no one has - as I want to know how to return this, or if another one could be shipped in the place of the one that doesn't work. ALSO, I was charged an extra $12 for """"additional shipping"""" charge and I had thought, since my order was nearly $200 that I would get free shipping - but, again, I can't get in touch with anyone."
