"At first I thought really bright gold color however the bright color helped with seeing the steps & after a week or so I think the color will wear down some. Note they are narrow which I like. Also the design is cut into the rubber pad & the gold color rolled over so the picture does show exactly as it will look. The tread is not slippery, mat stays on the step. Best of all I got them on a super sale deal so ordered two sets - 2 mats in one set."
