Horrific Customer Service and Liars
"I purchased the 8" baskets (2 sets) thinking they would work well on a 4-tier, 10" square shelving unit I had. Prior to ordering, I checked their website and return policy, and it said if I was unsatisfied with my purchase, my order is refundable (minus shipping. . . . no problem). After I got the baskets, I realized they would not work at all. I called customer service, as it said I'd have to fill out a return form, which I couldn't find anywhere on the website. The first woman I spoke to told me I am not able to return them unless they were the wrong item. She then told me I could return them if I paid for the return shipping. I said, that's not what their website says. I read their return policy to her verbatim from their website and she still said no. I asked to speak to a supervisor and after, basically demanding, that they are obligated to fulfill a return based on what is written on their website, she told me she would do a one-time return for me. As if she was doing me a big favor. I asked her to send me the pre-paid return label (per their website) I was told I should get my return label within three days. I didn't. After three days, I called and actually spoke to the same manager. She remembered speaking to me. I asked her where my return label is. She said it could take a week to ten days. I reminded her what she initially said to me. She told me to call back by that Friday, and Friday has come and gone. I will try calling again on Monday and if I don't get satisfaction, I will be contacting the Attorney General's Office in Illinois to file a complaint. You can't have your business website say one thing and all your employees tell customers something else. Horrible company. Don't do business with them."
