Really Disappointed in Quality and Size

"It really is my own fault, but it's just way smaller than I thought. I bought it to put in my dining room to store some placemats in there, and they don't even fit. It's not deep enough. I should have measured first, but I guess I just never would have imagined it would be quite so small. Also had some troubles putting it together. It took me about 5 hours by myself, but that's with about a half hour lunch break. Spent at least an hour dealing with technical issues. Had to get the drill out and drill some of the holes deeper. Also had an issue that I still haven't been able to fix, with one of the knobs not getting fully tight on there so it's loose and spins and hangs a bit. The hole was drilled on a slant, so I would probably have to drill another hole, but it more than likely would mess it up so bad the hole(s) would be too big. Also had to take a brown magic marker and color in some of the edges of the backer board in the caged in storage area. The edges of the board are like natural wood color and the item is dark so it was really noticeable and it just really made it look weird. I have got to say, this is one of the cheapest/worst quality items I've bought from LTD and I've bought a lot from here and am always really happy with my LTD items. I wanted to buy this cabinet for a LONG time and finally just decided to buy it because I needed more storage space. I definitely don't feel like it's worth $100, maybe $60 with the current quality. . . $75 at best if they fixed the quality issues. Also kind of unhappy with the color. It's way darker than it looks in the picture. It looks more black than brown. I don't know if the one in the advertisement is a different color, but this was the only one available when I went to purchase it. Considering the fact it took me half a day's work to put it together, I wasn't about to take it all apart and put it back in the box to send it back. Not really happy with it at all in my dining room. I'll probably end up just putting it somewhere else in the house. It just looks like it's too small for the area I wanted, but again. . my own fault and I should have measured it."

Bought two!

"First one we received I liked so much we got another one. The second one came and you could tell it had been repackaged like someone had returned it. Found out why close to finishing assembly - Missing two key wooden pieces. Fortunately, husband is a genius and made the parts required."

rolling buffet

"I love my rolling buffet. I use it as a side desk. It was a little challenging putting it together because of some of the screws mostly on the bottom door knobs"

Fabulous addition to the kitchen!

"This was one of my best Lakeside purchases. Very easy to put together (I built it by myself and it took me about an hour) and gave me the extra storage/ counter space I was looking for. Excellent option for the price!"

Im finding it very

"I'm finding it very difficult to put together by myself. Also, considering how much I paid, I'm very disappointed in the quality."

Instructions were the worst.

"Love the cart! But those picture instructions needs words. I fought with it for about 3 + hours."

Surprise purchase

"Use it in living room for stereo and CD's. Matching farmhouse furniture"

Poor design, cheaply made, bad wood

"I put this cabinet together and found that it had to have an extra piece of wood added to the top. portion for stability. It moved from side to side otherwise. When applying this extra piece of wood, even after pre-drilling, the inside wood (where piece would attach)split, pretty much everywhere that I put in screws. Way too much money for what amounted to a piece of shoddy furniture. I didn't return this because it was so heavy and too much trouble to take apart. . . and not easy like some return with other MAJOR marketplaces. LTD needs better suppliers. Really disappointed."
