Not Perfect, but I Made them Work

"I used this duster on my 2½‑inch and 3½‑inch vertical blinds (eight windows). The biggest issue is that the cleaning slats are spaced too far apart, so they do not grip the blinds well to remove dust effectively. I also tried using the refill covers between the slats, the way they were packaged, but they just slide out and will not stay in place. What finally worked was doubling up the covers. I put one set of refill microfiber covers over the original covers on the tool, so each slat has two layers of microfiber. It is a snug fit, but they will go on. Then I took the remaining refill covers and, with the open end toward the handle, pushed two pieces down between slats one and two, and the third piece between slats two and three. That extra bulk lets the tool grip the blinds firmly and actually pick up the dust."

"This dusts two slats at a time. It doesn't fit onto the blind slats tight. I tried adding a refill on top of one already on it and that just made it difficult to use. You have to put pressure on the duster to clean the blind slats. You also need to reinsert it to each end of the slats past the blind cords. Having to insert it 3 times for two slats is time consuming. So, it's really not much easier and takes more time to clean the blinds with this versus a dust rag. It does work but I wouldn't buy it again!"
